Tehran International Book Fair opens in Shahr Aftab

Tehran International Book Fair opens in the Iranian capital city of Tehran, with national and int’l publishers putting their cultural products on show.

The inauguration ceremony was held Wednesday at Shahr Aftab International Exhibition Site hosting the fair for the second consecutive year.

Participating agents include a total of 2634 domestic publishers and 94 publishing houses from Arab countries as well as 45 English-speaking publications, a media report said.

Countries such as Italy and Turkey are special guests of the 2017 Tehran International Book Fair. Each year, the book fair hosts a geart number of bibliophiles.

The 30th edition of the event is set to wrap up on May 13, 2017.
